We want to work with tenants to provide an excellent housing service. To do this we encourage you to get involved in a number of different ways as shown on our Tenant Involvement Map (click here to view the Tenant Involvement Map).
We encourage involvement in a number of practical ways, including:
-
holding public meetings
-
carrying out surveys/visiting people in their homes
-
visiting tenants, leaseholders and recognised tenants groups on housing management matters, maintenance and improvement plans and various other services
-
consulting individuals from time to time, for example, before carrying out major repairs or improvements to your home
-
seeking feedback from you on the services you receive, such as through satisfaction surveys
-
giving you the opportunity to elect Tenant Board members
-
consultation on specific Best Value issues
Every tenant lives in an 'area constituency' (there are five in Huntingdonshire) where there is an area association. This meets twice a year. Two people from each association are nominated to the Tenants Panel. The panel meets with Luminus Group’s Executive Team (the Group Chief Executive and Directors) twice each year to discuss relevant issues.
