Key Partners

We work with many key agencies within our region to provide the highest quality affordable homes and support services for our tenants and the wider community.

We have close links to Huntingdonshire District Council, from who the majority of our housing stock was purchased in March 2000, and continue work in partnership on housing and community projects in the Huntingdonshire region.

Our Anti-Social Behaviour Team works closely with Cambridgeshire Constabulary to combat instances of crime and anti-social behaviour in our region.

The Rural Cambridgeshire Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) currently base their operations at our Brook House head offices in Huntingdon - Luminus having provided CAB with office space to enable the organisation to continue providing a vital service for the local area.

  • We are committed to providing a ‘Premium Brand’ service to all our customers.  For certain types of work our approved contractors are the best option to get the work done so sometimes we will ask them to carry out work in your home rather than using our in house team of Tradesmen . This may be due to the specialist nature of the work required or to the scale of the job.

All our contractors undergo a rigorous appraisal before becoming an approved contractor and we regularly monitor the quality of their work to ensure that they are also providing an excellent service.

We welcome your feedback on the work of our contractors and we are pleased to note that we receive many compliments about them.

Luminus is committed to working in partnership with all our contractors who fully support Luminus' commitment to mend ‘Broken Britain’ and change the world for the better where we are.

The recent Contractor Training was attended by many of our contractors, some of whom have been working for us for many years. The event gave our contractors the opportunity to discuss with colleagues the importance of such issues as Health & Safety and the Contractors Code of Conduct as well as what our 2020 Vision: The Road to Renewal means.
